Minecraft is one of those games that absolutely inspires the best in all of us in terms of creativity. Through the years, we’ve seen so many amazing crossovers in Minecraft due to creative and dedicated players and with Beyond Light just around the corner for Destiny 2, this Tower homage is just too perfect not to share.

Courtesy of YouTuber ‘EetzJosh, we’ve got an interesting take on Destiny 2’s social space with a complete Tower walkthrough. Given the limitations of Minecraft and its particular art style, the Tower isn’t an exact replica but that doesn’t mean it’s any less impressive:

The Minecraft craftsman even faithfully recreated the secret route to get into Zavala’s office, a location that many Destiny 2 players became familiar with due to a particular Exotic questline. They even added a picture of Cayde-6, because we’re still not ready to accept … Read the rest

Watch Dogs: Legion PC players have been struggling with lost and corrupted save files since launch but it looks like a patch is coming soon that will address the issue.

While Xbox One players struggled with multiple crashes, Watch Dogs: Legion PC players are reporting on Reddit and Ubisoft forums that they are losing hours worth of gameplay due to problematic autosave issues.

Some players have found that if they don’t leave the game via the main menu, hours of save data is lost or corrupted. Others have found that waiting for the game to save is taking too long and they’re left with a hanging problem that forces them to alt-F4 close Watch Dogs: Legion which, unfortunately, corrupts or deletes their saves.

The good news is that Ubisoft has a plan to release a patch by November 9, as first reported in PC Gamer. You can check back here … Read the rest

SadSquare Studio’s Kickstarter-fueled Visage starts with a bang and never lets go, ratcheting up tension and delicious dread. For fans of horror games, Visage is a nightmare that you can’t miss; it’s the scariest game I’ve ever played. Through effective use of a chilling atmosphere, rising apprehension, and just the right amount of shocks and surprises, Visage is the haunted house from hell that scares your socks off. While the game suffers from poor inventory implementation and some of those indie “jank” bugs where you might get stuck in an environment or fall through the world, those annoyances can’t shake the fact that Visage does terror incredibly well.

The upcoming PS5 remaster of cult classic Demon’s Souls will feature more than 180 videos to help players.

That’s according to the game’s creative director Gavin Moore, who told The Washington Post, which says that the game will make use of the PlayStation 5’s new activities user interface to help players make their way through the infamously difficult title.

Earlier in the year, a patent filing revealed that Sony was planning on showing users gameplay footage from other players in order to help them get through a section of the experience with the PS5. The console’s user interface was shown off in October and is intended to be a complete rework of the experience of using the PlayStation 4.

This new, shiny version of Demon’s Souls was announced at the PlayStation 5 games showcase, with developer Bluepoint of Shadow of the Colossus remake fame at the helm. … Read the rest

Dirt has been many things in its lifetime, but here’s a first: a mainline entry developed outside of Codemasters’ Southam campus as its Cheshire studio takes point, giving us the series’ trademark raucous off-roading through an all-new filter. The results are fascinating, if not always entirely convincing. With the Dirt Rally series picking up the more serious and sim-minded point-to-point action, Dirt 5 is a pure arcade racer, packed full of spectacle and a smattering of smart ideas, and while some parts ring a little hollow, others can still leave one hell of an impression.

It’s a multidisciplinary racer, and a patchwork of different influences, but by far the biggest is Dirt 2 – that loudest, most raucous of Dirt games, with its music festival framework that the original Dirt 2 team would go on to develop further with the Forza Horizon series. In Dirt 5, that festival vibe pervades … Read the rest

Hello, Xbox Wire readers.

With “Jeopardy!” celebrating its wildly successful 36th season, and our game just winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Interactive Media, we’re excited to bring Jeopardy! PlayShow to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. It’s a brand-new way to play America’s favorite quiz show.

We’ve all been there before: sitting on the couch with family or with friends watching “Jeopardy!,” responding (or excitedly yelling) out to Alex Trebek as he reads the episode categories and clues aloud. And If you’re anything like me, you’re secretly keeping score against everyone in the room. And in that moment, it feels like you’re on the actual gameshow set with Alex, competing with the other contestants.

Jeopardy! PlayShow is just that. Actual “Jeopardy!” episodes stream onto your console or PC and provide the gameplay. Your mobile device acts as your buzzer, and after buzzing … Read the rest
